About Stuart A Friedman MD

Dr. Friedman specializes in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology. He is certified as a specialist by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.

Dr. Friedman has active admitting and consulting privileges as an Allergy Clinical Immunology Specialist at Boca Raton Regional Hospital and Delray Medical Center. He is a Consulting Allergy Immunology Specialist at Bethesda East Hospital.

Dr. Friedman was trained as a Clinical Immunology Specialist in the Division of Immunology (Internal Medicine) at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. At UC Dr. Friedman was trained by Evelyn Hess MD and I Leonard Bernstein MD. In Cincinnati, he spent two years as a researcher in Dr. Stuart M. Brooks’ Environmental Health Laboratory.

Internal Medicine training was at Winthrop University Hospital (now known as NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island).

Medical Education was at Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain) at the Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Friedman is bilingual as well as bicultural.

Dr. Friedman was the director of the Pediatric Asthma Clinic as well as the Pediatric Asthma Clinic at Jackson Memorial Hospital of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine until 1990 when he began to devote his time to full-time in south Palm Beach County.

During his tenure at the University of Miami School of Medicine Dr. Friedman, funded by Children’s Medical Services, introduced the use of nebulizer treatment of asthma for the asthmatic children of Miami.

Currently, Dr. Friedman is a member of the teaching faculty for Internal Medicine/Allergy-Immunology at the FAU Schmidt College of Medicine.
